With the 'correct' system if you were getting 40k in inducement money it would cost you 50k from your bank to buy a babe and then the higher TV team would be a 10k underdog and get to spend their inducement money after the lower team had bought. It's wrong on so many levels it's not even funny, but it's how it works in game. The lower TV team then gets to see the total amount of inducements they are receiving and ADD TO THAT FROM THEIR BANK. So cyanide has simplified the system to the higher TV team can add money if they want and buy their inducements.

This is counter intuitive to a lot of people, and probably difficult to code (though fumbbl managed.). The lower TV team then gets the same choice, but the money they contribute does not add onto the inducement value they already get, rather it adds to their TV, so it actually makes the inducements they already have less! The rule is supposed to offer the higher TV team the option to apply money from their bank to buy inducements, this then adds whatever they contribute to their total TV.
